Meet Our Team

office manager

Teri, Office Manager

Teri has been a member of the Smile Solutions team for over twenty years with more than thirty years of administrative experience. Her official title is Office Manager, but everyone knows she is much more than that. Teri takes pride in personally knowing her patients and is supportive when it comes to their dental needs. Her extensive knowledge of dental insurance enables her to assist patients with maximizing their benefits.

When Teri first joined the staff of Smile Solutions, she was unhappy with her smile. Now she will tell you she was like “Humpty Dumpty” and unlike the fairytale, Dr. Berg put her back together again. She knows firsthand what it means to be a patient and she never forgets how it feels to be in the treatment chair. Teri believes everyone should be able to eat comfortably and smile without pain.

Teri knows a lot about the healing power of laughter. She has a smile to share with everyone she greets. Most people believe that dentistry and laughter don’t go hand in hand, but Teri knows laughter is what makes Smile Solutions unique.

Teri has been married to her husband Joe for over thirty years. Their son, Joseph attends college at SUNY Maritime. Aside from a ten year hiatus to California, Teri has lived in the area her whole life. Teri says it is a special privilege to live in and be part of her community. It’s not uncommon to see her when shopping locally or at neighborhood events. Teri loves spending time with her family and any activity at or near the ocean. She tries to be active by taking her dog Jaxx for long walks everyday. She loves animals and can often be seen stopping to say hello to any pet she meets.

office coordinator

Jackie, Patient Coordinator

One of the first faces to greet you upon entering our office is Jackie. Her warm and engaging personality will immediately make you feel welcomed and happy to have chosen Smile Solutions as your new dental home.

Jackie joined our office staff after a successful and distinguished career in teaching. Adults and children alike are drawn to her for her genuine ability to comfort and listen. She just knows how to make anxious and nervous patients feel “at ease”. She treats everyone with kindness and attentiveness.

It’s not uncommon for patients to “pop-in” unannounced just to “schmooze” with Jackie to talk about anything and everything.

Jackie and Dr. Berg have been married for over 40 years. They have two sons, three grandsons, two granddaughters and Murphy, a mini Labradoodle. When Jackie is not at the front desk, she is either working out, playing tennis, tending to her artistic gardens, or figuring out crossword puzzles or word games.

team member

Brianna, Hygienist

Brianna joined our team in February of 2018.  She has been working in the dental field for over ten years.  She has a strong love and passion for providing excellent patient care.  Brianna believes that every patient is unique.  That belief is reflected in the individualized and personal care she gives every person who sits in her chair.  She greets everyone with a big smile and treats each patient with respect and compassion.

Brianna is a long time resident of Babylon Village.  Brianna and her husband Rob have an adventurous 18 month old boy named Liam.  Running after him keeps them both in shape!  She enjoys dining out and sampling the great restauants on Long Island. No matter what season it is, Brianna loves the outdoors.  She loves traveling and attending concerts wherever she goes.

Liz, Dental assistant

Liz joined our staff in August 2019.  She has over 35 years of experience in the dental field.  Liz is happy to have found a team and practice she can call home.  She always has a smile to share with patients. Her calm demeanor helps nervous patients relax.  She looks forward to meeting more patients and being a part of our dental family.

When she was a child she moved to New York from Corpus Christi, Texas.  She has been a resident of Rockville Centre for most of her life. Living in Rockville Centre has allowed her to enjoy all the wonderful places Long Island has to offer, especially the beach!  When she’s not exploring Long Island, Liz loves to watch reality shows. She is a big fan of 90 Day Fiance.  She is always taken aback by how hard people will search for love.

Liz’s three daughters are Christine, Kimberly, and Kelly.  Kelly lives with her and is currently attending Queens College pursuing a master’s degree.  Her goal is to be a school psychologist. It’s a good thing Liz loves animals because her daughter Kelly has two dogs, Zoey and Brody.  She loves the welcome and kisses they give “Grandma” when she comes home from an exciting day in dentistry.
